So how much would you allot to a nursery or a kids space?
I believe finding the furniture pieces (crib, changer, glider, beds) at a lesser price is where you can really save your dollars. There are amazing companies out there that make phenomenal pieces...my favorites for sure are Dwell, Oeuf, Young America and Nursery Works. But not all clients have $700+ to spend on a crib.
So, today I thought I'd share some of my favorite lower priced cribs.
The majority of Babyletto cribs are around $300-400, definitely a great company to keep in mind.
My next go to is Walmart...yes, Walmart. Have you heard they carry some great cribs? From traditional to contemporary, they have a wide selection and even lower prices. And the cribs are great quality. The favorite, I'm sure you've seen in rooms all over Pinterest and Project Nursery is
the Baby Mod Olivia 3 in 1 crib for $269! And I can confirm it is a beauty. But I have to say...I think this one is kind of great too.
the Baby Mod Park Lane crib in white and amber
$269
My next stop is IKEA...I love it for everything else, why not cribs?
Have you seen their new grey finish? It is a nice change to see from the white and wood tones they are so known for.
The Sundvik crib is only $119 and can give you the clean lines, low-set feel that many of the higher end cribs give to a room.
How about a changing table? I think that will be the next post. Let me know what else you liked to see as lower priced options.
Happy shopping- splurge vs. thrifty, what's your way?
Such a fun post. Even though my daughter is now in a big girl bed at 2 1/2 years, I still like looking at cribs. We bought the Baby Mod Olivia 3 in 1 and loved it.
