Last day of kindergarten {bring on summer}

I am not sure how I have an almost first grader!  This was our first year having school everyday, schedule everyday, homework everyday, reading everyday etc.  It has been an adjustment, but that makes today even sweeter.  We made it through kindergarten...all of us!  My son did such an amazing job and I am so proud of him.  Just last week he received an award for 'fairness,' which made me get goosebumps.  You always hope you instill great things in your kids, so when they get acknowledged by their teacher for one of them, well heck, I wanted to jump up and down.  Go us!!

Today being the last day of school, just like so many other moms, I like to capture what my little guy looked like.  Well, this task seemed a bit harder then I expected this time around.  This almost 6 year old wanted to make it a little challenging for this mama.  I definitely succeeded in getting some great funny shots though.

Well, that last one worked just fine for me!  So excited for lazy days of summer coming our way!
