My top picks {wooden arm chairs}

I've been in the process of redesigning my living room space because it is officially time to say goodbye to our sofa and welcome something a bit more cozy.  And of course, with the introduction of a new sofa I have to contemplate whether I want to keep the rest of the room the same or change it up. Right? Totally normal?  I think so.  When I was searching for new accent chairs I kept coming across some great options in all different price points that I thought I would share.  I am definitely focused on a chair with wood arms and then a comfy seat.  Here are some of the options.

A Natural Love

I named this board "Natural Love" for two reasons...loving your child is a natural love, and this room is filled with natural tones and feels.  I wanted to create a place of calm, with just a few introductions of colors.  I've been working on this board for a week or so and was excited to see that Chic Cheap Nursery just said yesterday how they have spotted a new trend of maps in kid spaces.  I guess I felt that way too when I started this design board.  Do you like the new trend?
I think it is a great way to pull in wall decor that can have multiple colors in it.  The map I chose is an executive map of neutrals with just the softest of colors on the land.

Love you more

A long while ago I found an artist on Etsy that I knew I loved.  And she keeps coming out with better and better products as time goes on.  Please meet Elissa Hudson!  I contacted her the other day to check if she would mind me using her pieces in my newest design board.  She was more then happy with me using them, so using them I did!  (I still think they need to make an appearance somewhere in my house. =p)

I just love her "I love you" and "love you more" wall art.  Here they are close up:

Thank you Elissa for allowing me to show others how adorable your art is and how great it can look in a nursery or kids space!

Be sure to visit Elissa's blog too!  The image above will take you to her site.

The other art featured in this design board is from Oopsy Daisy...I've always loved their Angelic Ballerina because she has red hair like me =)   Thank you to all you talented artists for making designing such a pleasure.  It is like a treasure hunt each and every design board.

Dandelion

There is something about a Dandelion that I love.  Its softness, its freeing ways...it's so similar to a child.  It exudes tenderness, so why not use it in a nursery?  Today I've played with this theme and created a space for a little lady.

It's a Posh Tots nursery

So, with my request for votes...which, by the way is completely for fun...the Posh Tots judges really make the deciding factor...I decided to put myself to a test.  Do a design board in less then five minutes...I used mostly Posh Tots available items and then threw in a few other pieces I like.  Enjoy!

A Place of Comfort

One piece that I feel is a must in any room is a chair.  Whether it is a glider, rocker or a stationary chair, it doesn't matter.  Mom and Dad just need a place to sit and relax and take in every little detail for their child.
I recently saw this chair featured in a really great apartment, but fell in love with the pattern.  How great would this be in a nursery?  For the client that is a bit shy of pattern, it could be the one and only pattern piece. But for the client who isn't turned off by pattern, what a great compliment to something geometric!  Oh, I can't wait to find the right client for this chair.  Click on the picture to find out where you can buy it....you may be surprised!
